Notes: FNA24: "Agrostis pallens grows on coastal sands and cliffs, in meadows, and in open, xeric woodlands to subalpine woodlands at 3500 m. It extends from British Columbia south into Baja California, Mexico, and east to western Montana and Utah. The relationship of the higher-elevation, more open-panicled plants to those of lower elevations merits further study."
